A litre of diesel increased by 7.6% between January 1 and January 21, 2022. A litre of SP95 increased by 5.8% and a litre of SP98 by 4.8%, according to the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
Fuel prices had climbed further over the previous week, reaching new highs.
Ministry of Ecological Transition data for the week of January 21, 2022 for diesel, unleaded 95 and unleaded 98, in service stations in France is:
a litre of diesel costs 1.654 euros, up 2.01% over one week,
a litre of SP95 costs 1.725 euros, up 1.05% compared to the previous week,
and à
a litre of SP98 costs 1.786 euros, up 1.08% over one week.
These are record prices never before seen in France.
Thus,
a litre of diesel increased by 7.6% between January 1 and January 21, 2022,
a
litre of SP95 increased by 5.8%
and a
litre of SP98 increased by 4.8%, according to published data from the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
Over the period between May 1, 2020 and January 21, 2022,
the price of a litre of diesel increased by 41.8%,
the price of a litre of SP95 increased by 40.3%,
and the price per litre of SP98 increased by 37.6%.
