20: houses - the auroran sunset

Here at abelard.org, we take a lot of photographs. Many of them are pretty or interesting. This is the twentieth in a regular “photograph with little or no explanation or comment” feature.

Here are some houses, all from a single village in the Landes area of southern France. Many of these houses are in typical Landaise style: long and low with a gentle peaked tile roof, and usually lots of wood for the structure.
