islamic violence among petty criminals
- It seems to me that the so-called terrorists from Islamic backgrounds
are mostly petty criminals.
I'm wondering whether the problem is puritanical, repressive upbringing.
Some few turn to petty crime, which doubtless leaves them with
strong feeling of guilt and failure.
At some point, they become self-hating, and feel a need to claim they
are not worthless and are, in fact, worthy and meritorious.
So they sublimate their feelings of guilt in a fake act of 'morality', cleansing the Earth of their idea of non-believers.
An expiation, a form of suicide by cop.
